Ashley Johnston is our Training Officer, working with ministry candidates for FTWS, Deacons, OLMs and Readers in Training.
Ashley is passionate about supporting and guiding those on their training journeys, from offering advice for choosing academic courses, supporting the placement process to being involved in conferences and gatherings and meeting with individuals throughout their training.
Ashley has enjoyed working for the Church of Scotland in a variety of roles, including Children, Youth and Family Worker in West Lothian to being a Stewardship Consultant for the West of Scotland. She hopes to bring this experience, alongside her theological studies to support Candidates each step of their journey. Ashley is an Elder at her local Church StMichaels.
In her spare time she enjoys baking, various arts and crafts, volunteering with local charities and singing along (very badly!) to musical showtunes.
