Gillean is currently a minister within the International Presbytery of the Church of Scotland, working with the congregation of the Scots Kirk in Lausanne in Switzerland. She was ordained to University Chaplaincy in 1994 and has been a parish minister in both rural and city charges in Scotland.
Gillean is a former nurse having trained in Glasgow. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Person Centred Counselling and the Diploma in Pastoral Supervision. She is a passionate believer that supervision is essential for all in the caring professions.
Due to her location she offers supervision primarily via SKYPE.
