Margaret is an elder in a parish church in Fife and has worked as a counsellor for thirty years, initially in the alcohol and drug field, and for the last twelve years in the Counselling service at the University of Dundee. For about half of her career, she has also supervised other counsellors, both experienced and trainees. For the last year, she has trained and worked in Pastoral Supervision. She has also been involved in the Assessment process for people applying for ministry and has an interest in accompanying people as they discern the voice of God in their lives.
Margaret’s undergraduate degree included a year of psychology and a year of theology and she holds an Advanced Diploma in Counselling, a Diploma in Supervision and is working towards a Diploma in Pastoral Supervision.
