Eleanor was ordained minister in the Church of Scotland in 1994, serving initially as part of a growing team ministry in Paisley, in the North End and Ferguslie Park communities. Joining the Interim and Transition Ministry Team, as an interim minister, Eleanor also trained as a practitioner with Place for Hope and in both capacities, worked alongside many congregations and Kirk Sessions as they travelled through challenge and change. Having worked in Church communities throughout Scotland, Eleanor remains committed to supporting those within the ministries of the Church, and carries an enthusiasm for ‘doing meetings well’!
Serving now as the People and Training Manager, Eleanor oversees the work of the team which oversees the assessment and training for those in the recognised ministries, Ascend, Church of Scotland Learning, and the support offered to those in their First Five Years of ordained ministry.
