Ashley Johnston is our Training Officer, working with ministry Candidates for FTWS, the Diaconate, OLM and the Readership.
Ashley is passionate about supporting and guiding those on their formation journeys from the practicalities of academic study and placements, the planning and organisation of conferences and additional training, as well as meeting and journeying with Candidates supporting their personal wellbeing, development and formation.
Ashley has enjoyed working for the Church of Scotland for over a decade in a variety of roles, in both parish and national based roles. She hopes to bring this experience, alongside her theological studies to support Candidates each step of their journey. Ashley is an Elder at her local Church St Michaels.
In her spare time, she enjoys baking, various arts and crafts, volunteering with local charities and singing along (very badly!) to musical showtunes.
