David is a retired Church of Scotland minister who has a passion for encouraging the wellbeing of ministers and other workers in the church, which comes from his own experiences of the challenges and rewards of Christian ministry. He was the parish minister of Beath and Cowdenbeath North Church for almost seventeen years and since retiring has continued to be active in Fife Presbytery on the Pastoral Care Support Group and as such, he plays a significant part in encouraging group Pastoral Supervision within the Presbytery, along with other forms of support for those in ministries. His own experience of receiving Pastoral Supervision has convinced him of the value of this practice and its essential place in supporting ministries. He has a Diploma in Pastoral Supervision and Reflective Practice and is an Accredited Pastoral Supervisor with the Association for Pastoral Supervision and Education (APSE). David can provide Pastoral Supervision either in-person or by Zoom.
