About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Prospects Across Scotland is a small Christian organisation with a big dream! We would love to see all churches in Scotland feeling equipped and enabled to welcome people with learning disabilities and autism, so that they can belong and use their gifts to build up the Church.

This training comes out of real life experience and will help you to understand autism. Come along if you are a parent, a friend, family member, church leader or member. This event is two hours long, with a short break in the middle and opportunities to ask questions. We will email you training notes and resources afterwards.

The training is led by Hilary Lacroix, Mission Development Coordinator of Prospects Across Scotland. Hilary has spent most of her professional life working with autistic people, adults with learning disabilities, and in churches. She helps at Inverness Prospects, a group that meets to offer Christian worship and friendship to adults who have learning disabilities and may also be autistic.

Bonus! When booking this course you will be able to attend our other course ‘ Building Communities of Hope – Worship for All’ for just £5. You will receive an email with a promotional code to use when purchasing your ticket.
