Welcome to “LOOKING BACK TO LOOK FORWARD: THE ROLE OF HISTORY IN THEOLOGY AND MINISTRY”!

Date: Mon Jan 06 2025

Time: 18:00 GMT

Location: Stirling Court Hotel

Come and join us for few days of reflection and discussion on the importance of history in shaping our understanding of theology and ministry. Let’s explore how looking back can help us move forward in our spiritual journeys. This in-person event promises to be enlightening and engaging, so don’t miss out!

The venue at Stirling Court Hotel is fully I.T. friendly, and though most people prefer the congenial conference and hotel facilities, it will also be streamed on line. The University also has its own art collection, which we can arrange to visit.

After you register for the conference you will be sent a form detailing how to pay the event fee of £130, or £45 per day if you wish to come for part of the conference. There is also the option to watch the presentations online for a reduced fee of £40.

Accommodation is booked separately at a daily conference rate of £93 single occupanncy DBB or £136 double occupancy DBB.

To book your accommodation (inclusive of meals during the conference) contact the booking office at the hotel directly on 01786 466000, quoting the code 293996 for the special conference rate , or book online by pasting the following link into your browser: https://smchotelaccommodation.stir.ac.uk/Search.aspx?arrivalDate=2025-01-06&departureDate=2025-01-09&roomCount=1&location=&promotion=293996&people=0&l=en-GB
