About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Learn how ‘age and stage’ ministries can equip people for the detail of daily life – and get first access to our new ‘Back to School Sunday’ materials.

From school holiday clubs to retirees’ coffee mornings, any ministry aimed at a specific life stage is a precious opportunity to grow fruitful disciples.

When you’ve got a room full of people all facing similar challenges and opportunities, you can really dig into how their faith connects to the detail of those situations. Maybe it’s equipping the 20s and 30s group to be godly flatmates or to date in a way that glorifies God. Maybe it’s helping the youth see why their GCSE subjects matter to God. Maybe it’s inspiring the ‘mature’ members of the church to see fresh purpose in retirement.

In this hour-long lunchtime webinar, LICC’s expert Church Team will give you practical advice on shaping both the content of your ‘age and stage’ ministries, and the way you support and train volunteers – so they’re best placed to equip people for their everyday mission in God’s world.

Plus, you’ll also get first access to LICC’s brand new ‘Back to School Sunday’ service plan, which is a great way to put what you learn into practice. You’ll get sermon notes and suggested activities, liturgies, blessings, and songs, all designed to help your church commission your children and educational workers back to school in September.

Grab your lunch, join us on Zoom, and discover how your age-focused groups can equip people to join in God’s mission, right where they are.
