At the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland in 2022, the Faith Nurture Forum was asked to: Call the Church to pray, and instruct the Forum to produce prayer resources to encourage and equip people to pray for the future well-being, peace and revival of the Church.
The bible studies are based on stories from the New Testament when Jesus and the Disciples find themselves in challenging circumstances, and their reactions to the situation. They can be used for individual or group reflections, a retreat session, Bible studies, as part of a worship service, or as part of your church planning programme.
The prayers reflect a range of different voices across the Church of Scotland, and offer a variety of prayer styles that can be used in public worship, church gatherings and meetings, or in your own personal prayer rhythm.
