The Church of Scotland is pleased to introduce a new resource, Bearing Fruit: a financial health check for growth. This tool from the Stewardship team is designed to help congregations assess their financial practices, governance and stewardship across eight key areas. Rooted in Colossians 1:10, it encourages churches to “bear fruit in every good work” by identifying strengths and areas for growth in their financial practices.
Using Bearing Fruit is simple: answer a series of quick questions about your congregation’s financial practices, and you’ll receive a tailored report with practical advice to help you cultivate generosity and financial health in your church. Your responses to the questions and the generated report will only be seen by you and those with whom you share the material locally.
Whatever your congregation’s situation, Bearing Fruit is filled with advice to support you on your stewardship journey.
