Living Generously is a new book from the Church of Scotland’s stewardship team, promoting a whole-life approach to Christian stewardship. Through twelve themed articles, case studies and prompts for discussion and reflection, it invites us to consider God’s goodness and our generous response. This accessible and practical book is suitable for individuals and groups, including in new and different expressions of church.

The book can be purchased from all major booksellers and direct from Saint Andrew Press:  Living Generously A whole-life response to God’s love by Fiona Penny, Darren Philip, Katherine Southern, Pauline Wilson – Paperback / softback – 9781800830493 (hymnsam.co.uk)

To celebrate the launch of this book, the team will be hosting a fringe event at this year’s General Assembly. This will be held from 12.30-2pm on Monday 20 May in Augustine United Church, 41 George IV Bridge, Edinburgh, EH1 1EL. The event will feature conversations with a few of the book’s contributors about their own experiences of generosity. A light lunch will be provided. There is no need to register for the event, nor do you need to be a commissioner to attend.
