An interactive online CPD event for Ministers.

About this event

In this interactive online event, the challenges of leadership needed in the Church in Scotland today will be considered by three speakers with different but complementary perspectives. The approach will be practical and supportive, recognising the difficulties of the changes currently facing Church leaders in Scotland. The focus will be on the Church of Scotland, but leaders from all churches are welcome and will find much of relevance to their context too.

The afternoon will conclude with a panel discussion, chaired by Rev Dr Sandy Forsyth, Senior Teaching Fellow in Practical Theology and Missiology, School of Divinity, University of Edinburgh (part-time) and minister of Mayfield Salisbury Church, Edinburgh.

Speakers

Rev Dr Neil Dougall, minister of St Andrew Blackadder Parish Church, North Berwick.

Rev Sheila Mitchell, minister of Echt and Midmar Parish Church, Presbytery of Gordon.

Rev Professor Will Willimon, Professor of the Practice of Christian Ministry, Duke Divinity School and author of Preachers Dare: Speaking for God.
