Morven is an experienced counsellor, supervisor and trainer. In education settings, she has been an Inclusion Faculty Lead, Designated Safeguarding Lead, SENDCo (Special Education Needs co-ordinator), teacher, school counsellor in a Pupil Referral Unit, and led a national pilot for The Place2Be.

Morven has led pastoral prayer ministry teams in the USA and the UK. Her husband is a minister and she understands the challenges of being in leadership in a church setting.

She adopts a creative approach to supervision bringing solid, consistent, open and insightful skills to her facilitative style. She believes that the supervisory relationship enables pastoral leaders to process their work and become more self-aware, deal with the significant emotional dilemmas that arise, work with resistance with challenge and sensitivity, and avoid burn-out.

Morven is an accredited BACP counsellor (MBACP: Accred), has a Masters in Counselling Studies and a Diploma in Supervision (SPCTI).
