Stephanie is Arts Therapist (Dramatherapy) and clinical supervisor, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Association of Dramatherapists (BADth). Her current post is within the Psychological Therapies team at The State Hospital (Carstairs) working as a Dramatherapist with adult men detained in conditions of high security. Prior to this, Stephanie worked in community adult mental health in Dundee, seeing individuals and groups of people struggling with anxiety, depression and relational difficulties.

Stephanie completed a Master of Arts in Dramatherapy at Roehampton University (London) in 2010. Additional training includes Mentalisaton Based Treatment from the Anna Freud Centre (London) and a diploma in Creative Approaches to Supervision and Reflective Practice (Institute of Pastoral Supervision).

In addition to her NHS and other freelance therapy work, Stephanie offers an Edinburgh-based, private practice in supervision of therapists,  counsellors and other psychological practitioners.  She also offers training and reflective practice both in the NHS and as part of training courses for other therapists. This includes co-facilitating the Diploma in creative approaches to cross-professional supervision and reflective practice.
