Time for Reflection
The Time for Reflection module will run again in September 2024, in an innovative delivery model for Scottish Baptist College. Running over the course of 6 Saturdays between 10am and 5pm throughout the year, the module will be taught onsite at Falkirk Baptist Church (close to Falkirk Grahamston train station!) The Saturdays will be:
- 21st September 2024
- 26th October 2024
- 23rd November 2024
- 22nd February 2025
- 22nd March 2025
- 26th April 2025
At present, one of the only modules offered at Undergraduate level across Scotland with a focus on the delivery of Time for Reflection (Religious Observance) and Chaplaincy within Curriculum for Excellence.
This module will help you think through different approaches to chaplaincy, spirituality, and religious education, all in the context of working with young people. Ideal for school staff tasked with the delivery of Values Education and Time for Reflection. Ideal too for anyone who is, or hopes to be, a school chaplain, and anyone working with young people in any environment.
“Schools are an important space where young people acquire values and explore beliefs.”
