Sheila is an Accredited Counsellor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, she studied at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow in 2004 and has build up her own private practice for counselling and supervision. She also has experience working for the NHS, voluntary and statutory sector.
Before becoming a Counsellor, Sheila’s background was in education, specializing within the field of special needs and pre-school education as well as managing a private nursery.
Alongside her counselling and supervision work she has a role as a Personal Assistant to a minister, and coupled with her upbringing being a daughter of a Church of Scotland minister has given her some unique insight into the workings of ministry.
