Within the Church of Scotland, Carolann is an ordained minister currently in St. Columba’s, Jersey. Her previous roles include parish ministry in Perth and Fife where she trained candidates for ministry and supervisors. She is a senior accredited experienced pastoral supervisor trained in cross professional supervision and reflective practice. Accredited through APSE (Association of Pastoral Supervisors and Education), her reflective practice through pastoral supervision offers creative ways that occupies a soulful space where the substance of the matter can be shared, specified and theologically rooted in unconditional positive regard. She offers pastoral supervision in a supportive confidential space for individuals and groups through courageous conversations as to care for the soul in the role whilst enhancing best work practice reflecting on the experiences of anyone who attends these pastoral supervision sessions. She is also a facilitator with the Scottish Bible Society in Trauma Healing, an NHS trained Community Chaplain, a Bereavement Facilitator, a member of Guild of Health and St. Raphael and the Church Service Society.
